Bingham Hollow Falls

Today we stopped for a short hike. This hike is very easy to get to the top of Bingham Hollow Falls (35.66222, -93.74665). The trail head and parking are at the same spot. (35.66092, -93.74544) This is a very good trail to the top of the falls and very easy. Once you get to the top of the falls the trail will be on your right looking down stream. It is close to the edge of the falls. This part of the hike is a little more difficult , but still easy overall. As you follow the trail you will come to a small Y in the trail. Take the trail to the right that goes up the somewhat rock stairs. As you get to the top the trail will curve to the left. Continue to follow the trail. You will then come to a small rocky runoff creek. It looks like a way down to the bottom, however it is not. Cross this and continue straight, the trail get less well traveled at this point. Once you get to this Break Point (35.66278, -93.74713) this where you will start down to the bottom. There is still a trail, but it is less traveled on. Once at the bottom Bingham Hollow Falls is just a little up stream. It’s a very nice place to just rest and relax and enjoy Mother Nature. There are several good trees where you can put a hammock or two. Map My Fitness had our hike 1.1 miles and GAIA had .91 miles. Below is our GAIA Track.
