Devon Falls, Milestone Falls

Today we headed off to find Devon Falls and Milestone Falls, we parked (35.82545, -92.94727). The trail starts off very easy and flat for the most part. Part of the trail is on an old jeep trail, you will come to a y in the trail (35.81408, -92.95296). At this point the trail start down a long moderate descend, and the trail gets a little harder to follow. Once your down the bottom of descend your path will veer to the right (35.81209, -92.95991). You will find a link to our at the bottom of the page. Now I’m not saying our track is the best, but if you follow it you will definitely find the falls. Once you get close to the creek if you stay to the right you will reach the top of the falls (we prefer to get to the bottom). If you want to get to the bottom you will need to find a way down to the creek before you reach the falls and go up the creek bed to get to the bottom. On our track you can see where we went down (35.81679, -92.96269) (which wasn’t to bad). Once at the bottom just follow the creek upstream about .10 of a mile (cords). After you finish checking out Devon Falls (35.81724, -92.96145), you will need to go back up to the top of the ridge and head towards Big Devils Fork Creek, we found a good spot to climb down to the creek bed (35.81600, -92.96321). Once your down to the creek bed if you look across the creek you will see a side fall the we named Sketchy Falls (35.81567, -92.96433). After enjoying the extra fall head upstream until you reach the Milestone Falls (35.82120, -92.96680). It can get a little interesting as you make your way to Milestone Falls. After enjoying the waterfall it was time to head back. We pretty much followed the same path back except not having to go back to Devon Falls. Map my fitness had our hike at 6.30 miles and GAIA has it at 5.18 miles.
